Max Anarchy.

While the name is a bit pants, when you’re talking about the next game from the company that brought us the brilliantly bonkers Bayonetta and the equally fantastic Vanquish, well, you just have to stand up and take notice.

Although details are scarce at the moment, early word from Japan is that it will be a shooter with both a single player campaign and an online component that will support a huge number of players.

Due to be released on 360 and PS3 and published by Sega, it sounds like Max Anarchy could be another attempt to win over western gamers while still providing the outlandish and downright cool eastern aesthetic that has become a staple of their work.

Oh, and good news for fans of Platinum Games uber violent MadWorld – it looks like Jack will be making a guest appearance. Now, if his appearance in a videogame doesn’t  guarantee violence, I don’t know what does.
