Sega will release a sequel to their answer to Mario Kart, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, later this year.
The gaming giants plan to release a sequel to the 2010 title in time for the 2012 Festive period, and will be available on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, PC and DS. No Vita release? No, not yet.
The news broke at the New York Toy Fair this weekend, where Sega displayed a number of new toys based on Sonic and the gang. Sega told gaming site Kotaku of the game’s development, which will have a number of new characters and vehicles for you to mess around with come later November.
The original received mostly positive reviews, and after its worldwide release on the 23rd of February 2010, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing sold over 1.07 million copies worldwide by March of that year.
