Electronic Arts closed its E3 press conference with confirmation of the long-suspected news that a Mirror’s Edge sequel is in the works.
A cinematic trailer – which confirmed that the game will be sticking with the original game’s free running style, female protagonist, Faith, and ultra-modern aesthetic – was the only evidence provided of ME2’s existence and ended with the rather noncommital words that the game will be coming, “When it’s ready”.
Earlier in the show, EA unveiled a short trailer announcing that a new Star Wars: Battlefront game was also in the works, one again in development by DICE, and one again with no current release date.
