Director of Final Fantasy XV Hajime Tabata has today revealed that the latest installment in the long running Final Fantasy saga, XV, will obtain an official release date during March.
During an interview with Famitsu Tabata-san stated that the title will be showcased and receive its long awaited release date during an event taking place in a mere 2 months time in March.
“This year is the year we’ll release Final Fantasy XV,” Tabata-san told the publication in a special New Year’s message. “Currently, we’ve decided on all of its specifications and the beta version is under production so we can shift into the debug phase.
“We’ll show the real XV during the release date announcement this March.”
For those who don’t know, Final Fantasy XV will see gamers take to the Niflheim dominated lands, in which players will obtain access to a number of magical abilities, in an attempt to eliminate their imperial foes, and liberate their people.
