NetherRealm studios officially announced on Wednesday, January 20th, the new release trailer of Mortal Kombat XL. One of best games of last year is set to go XL with all of your beloved characters, fatalities, combos, maps, and even some new faces such as: Tri-Borg, Bo’ Rai Cho, Alien and Leatherface.

The trailer shows nothing more than what was allegedly the new kombat pack 2 trailer, but quickly reveals that it’s actually and all in one set.

Based on the trailer it’s obvious we are to expect some familiar faces and 4 new characters, but also towards the it is shown have some new stage fatalities as well. Could we be expected to see the return of the gruesome stage fatalities again? Perhaps. Who knows what else NetherRealm has hidden under their sleeves. Also when they say “XL” do they Mortal Kombat 11? Or do they mean “extra-large” hints the new dlcs and features? We may never know…

Mortal Kombat XL is set to be lunched worldwide on March 1st, 2016, in both digital download and in stores.
