Despite scoring 18 goals so far and propelling Leicester City to the top of the Premier League, striker Jamie Vardy’s form hasn’t been accurately reflected in his FIFA 16 rating. That changed today as EA boosted his overall rating from 71 to 75.
To put it in perspective his old rating of 71 put Vardy on par with players such as Danny Graham, Dwight Gayle and Bobby Zamora. His upgrade to 75 marks a significant improvement – although he is still only seen as equivalent to Cameron Jerome and Rickie Lambert. However Vardy’s new rating included increasing his pace to 92 making him one of the quickest players in the game, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale among the handful of players who remain faster than him.
Leicester City midfielder Riyad Mahrez also saw an increase to his overall rating from 73 to 76 to reflect his impressive performances this season.
