PlayStation Plus is an online service that provides free games and discounts to loyal PlayStation users. Every month the gamers are treated to a few free games from its vast gaming menu. Sony has revealed the list of games that they have made available for September 2016.
After it offered Ultratron, Patapon 3, Yakuza 5, Rebel Galaxy, Tricky Towers and Retro/Grade in August, Sony has decided to offer more action-packed adventures like bingo bonuses to the players this time. Let’s take a quick look at what the six games are:
#1-Lords of the Fallen for PS4
Released in October 2014, Lords of the Fallen is an action role-playing game. This game is set in a world long after the defeat of a god named Adyr. You’ll take on the role of Harkyn who is a convicted criminal. He is released from prison by a monk, Kaslo so he can stop a mysterious invasion of Adyr’s demonic forces. You’ll come across a number of powerful beings called Rhogar Lords who are invading from unknown places into the human realm.
Fighting enemies in this adventurous game and becoming a part of a war between gods and humans is the highlight of this video game.
#2-Journey for PS4 and PS3
Released on 13 March 2012 Journey is an indie video game. You’ll need to take on the role of a robed figure in a desert. The ‘journey’ will take you through the desert as you pass sand dunes and mountains in high winds and deep snow. You’ll come across the remnants of a once-thriving civilization that has been eroded by sand over time.
A critical and commercial success, this game became the fastest-selling game until now on the PlayStation Store. Once you play it, you’ll know why!
#3-Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for PS3
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is a multi-platform video game. Produced by Ubisoft, it was released on 18 May 2010. Depending on the platform played, the plot of this video game differs. In the PS3 version, the Prince is on a quest to see his brother. But when he arrives at his brother’s kingdom, he finds that it’s under attack. The army attacking the kingdom is attempting to breach the treasure vaults in search for a great power known as Solomon’s Army.
As you help the Prince and his brother battle it out, you’ll come across enjoyable trap-filled environments to explore.
#4-Datura for PS3
Released in 2012, Datura is a first-person adventure game. You start out as a patient in an ambulance and for some unknown reason you’ll find yourself in a middle of a mysterious forest. The gameplay is built in such a way that you’ll need to explore the forest where you can interact with certain objects and other characters.
The game is named after Datura, which is a hallucinogenic family of flowers. Hence, this game will take you through a drug-laced trip through the woods.
The other two games that are made available free in September 2016 are Badland, which is for PS Vita, PS4 and PS3 and Amnesia: Memories for PS Vita.
The lineup of free games this time seems pretty impressive. So which ones are you going to play today?
