As the Editor-in-Chief, PR Manager, Review Code & Competitions Coordinator and Webmaster, I have sole responsibility for sourcing review code from the publishers and public relations representatives and assigning it to members of the review team. I am responsible for sending the relevant links and cuttings to the publishers and I am responsible for all content including editorial, reviews, previews, news, features and competitions. I decide what gets published and what doesn’t, so I guess you could say I’m the big boss!

With the aim of providing magazine quality reviews online, our mission is to provide the games industry with an opportunity to showcase the various games platforms available at the moment, and to help you find the very best games around whilst steering you clear of the stinkers.
We receive PR from nearly every publisher in the UK and will be focusing on reviews which is what we do best.
What are we about? Gaming, that’s what! We’re just a bunch of avid gamers like you, who have a passion for the videogames industry and love to write about it.
We are looking to expand the website and are looking for talented, passionate journalists to join the team. Previous experience is not necessary; all we require is a flair for writing and a genuine love for the industry.

While the role does not pay in the traditional cash-money sense, regular contributors will be pushed up the review list quickly and will subsequently have a better chance of landing the triple-A titles come review o’clock. Our contacts here at Brashgames.co.uk are relatively extensive, so our review lists are usually very solid – basically, what I’m saying is; join the team, show a bit of commitment and you certainly won’t be reviewing shovelware every week.
We appreciate that folk are busy, so we’re not expecting content every day, just a steady stream of news stories and the such. Like anything else in life, the more you put into Brash Games, the more you will get out of it.
